I believe all Scripture was given by inspiration from God and is without error, infallible, absolutely supreme and sufficient in authority in all matters of faith and practice. I believe God is three persons in one.I believe in the words of Christ:
God the Father: Creator of Heaven and earth. He was, He is and He will forever be. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is eternal.
God the Son: Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. He was conceived of the spirit and born through Mary. He lived a sinless life and through his crucifixion He died for the just and unjust, the supreme substitute sacrifice. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. Through Him we have salvation and through Him we stand blameless before God.
God the Holy Spirit: the Holy Spirit is God's power in action. The Hebrew word for spirit, 'ruah', can also mean wind, breath, or life force. Most commonly designated as 'of God', or 'of the Lord', the Spirit appears as God's agent of creation, a mode of His interacting with humans, His agent of revelation, and a mode of empowering God's people.
I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
And how do you come to the Father through Christ? It's so simple. Repent (turn away) from all your wrongdoing and sin and ask God to forgive you. We know He will because He made the supreme sacrifice for us. We've all heard this Scripture before but it never loses its power.
For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
It truly is that simple. God's Word (the Bible) is NOT a book of don'ts. It's more of a book of Do's.
Do love your neighbour.
Do forgive others.
Do worship/love the Lord.
Do good unto others.
Do love yourself knowing how much God loves you!
Do have the blessed hope of life eternal in heaven.
Do have peace that passes all understanding.
There are many more so I encourage you to DO read your Bible. Get to know God and His Son and have a blessed life.
